2019 Verdicchio di Matelica – 91
Bright straw green. Very clean and fresh on the nose, but with perhaps just a little less lift than usual. Then very lively and buoyant in the mouth, with laser-like precision to the mineral, baked apple and pear flavours. Very long and varietally accurate on the finish. This is really lovely. Drinking window: now-2026.
