The 2010 Verdicchio di Matelica is a glorious wine.
Round, sweet and harmonious, this entry-level
Verdicchio impresses for its overall balance. This is a
stunning bottle of wine for the money. Crisp green
apples, flowers and minerals linger on the elegant
finish. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2017.
Bisci is an excellent source for fine Verdicchio that
redefines the heights this indigenous variety is
capable of reaching. Once again I was blown away by
the quality of the wines I tasted. I can’t recommend
these two Verdicchios highly enough.
